Bristol Motor Speedway Hosts “Race to Build” Competition

Three local tri-cities families will soon have new homes all thanks to a local service organization. Over the weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway the “Race to Build” competition was held by the Appalachian Service Project. The work was done in just three days. Iowa State University won the first place prize Sunday Afternoon. The homes will be finished in the next few weeks, and the families should be able to move in around the beginning of Summer.
