Carter County Receives Tourism Grant

A grant is helping to fund new wayfinding signage to assist out of town tourists to Carter County and at the same time helping to stimulate the local tourism economy. More than 52 thousand dollars has been granted to Carter County to provide assistance for directing out of town tourists to local attractions and tourism sites within the county. The grant money is provided by the Rural Economic Opportunity Act which was passed by the General Assembly in 2016.
