School Walkout Held Across Tri Cities and Nation

Students from across Northeast Tennessee participated in a walkout of classrooms Friday to protest in support of tougher gun laws. The walkout, which comes on the 19 anniversary of the Columbine Massacre had students from across the region and the nation walkout of classrooms at Ten Friday. The walkout is being called by some as an opportunity for students to voice their opinion in a peaceful manner. But others contend, the walkout sends the wrong message to students by letting them walkout of classrooms without consequences.
