Jonesville man sentenced to 19 years in prison on drug operation
A Lee County, Virginia, man who ran a crystal meth operation out of his home in Jonesville was sentenced this week on federal drug charges. There were five other defendants involved.
Rick Jeremy Sturgill, 41, received a 19-year prison sentence along with conspirator Tony Lynn Ketron, 28, of Church Hill, Tennessee. Both men had previously plead guilty on multiple charges connected to the drug ring operation running crystal meth through Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Kentucky.
Jason Dale Moore, 36, William Benjamin Brewer, 36, and Kristina Burton, 44, all of Jonesville, were also sentenced to multiple years in prison for their connections to the drug trafficking operation.
