Police Investigating Serious Hit And Run In Abingdon

Virginia State Police are investigating a serious hit and run incident in Abingdon over night and are looking for a suspect who left the scene of the crash. According to Police, a woman and her son were driving toward Lebanon from Abingdon when a man driving a truck hit their vehicle. The unidentified man fled the scene on foot. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
