Kingsport Man Charged with Murder Pleads Not Guilty

A man in Kingsport charged with first-degree murder pleaded not guilty today.

According to police reports, the man strangled his wife, then called 911 and reported it at their Rock Springs community home. The man remains behind bars with bail set at $400,000. His next court date is set for August 14th, and it is yet to be determined if a trial date will be set.
