Johnson City Police Stepping Up Patrols

As part of the “Booze it & Loose It” campaign, Johnson City Police will have extra patrols out this weekend.

It’s part of a partnership with the Tennessee Highway Safey Office. A main goal is to keep impaired drivers off of the road.

Officers will monitor drivers behaviors closely for any signs of intoxication. In recent years Johnson City Police have recorded five impaired crashes, four of which resulted in injury.
