Carter County Detention Center Passes State Inspection

The Tennessee Corrections Insistitute has given it’s seal of approval to the Carter County Detenetion Center.

After an earlier inspection this year the TCI they revisited the facility and found conditions at the jail to meet all state standards.

Sheriff Dexter Lunceford noted that it’s common practice for the state to perform double inspections and is pleased the facilities continue to get passing grades.
