Southwest Virginia Stabbing Victim Identified

Police have identified the woman found covered in blood earlier this week after a stabbing incident in southwest Virginia. Norton Police say 35 year old Brandi Lynn Smith suffered life threatening injuries after she was stabbed by Jonathan Eric Smith. Jonathan Smith, was also found covered in blood from an apparent self inflicted knife wound to the throat. JonAthan Smith has been charged with attempted first degree murder.
