Man Wanted In Oregon Agrees To Extradition From Scott County To Face Attempted Murder Charges
An Oregon man charged with attempted murder and apprehended in Scott County recently is now headed back to Oregon after agreeing to extradition. John David Sexton was captured earlier this month in Scott County after deputies received a call of a suspicious vehicle in a neighborhood. Upon arrival, deputies found Sextons’s car in a creek. Once authorities discovered Sexton was wanted in Oregon, Sexton fled authorities but was quickly captured. Sexton pleaded guilty Thursday of fleeing law enforcement, possession of marijuana and being a fugtive from justice.
