Drug Bust Nets Kilo of Meth and Nearly $30,000 Cash

A major drug bust in Bristol, TN lands three in jail and has police looking for answers

Officers responded to the 3800 block of W. State Street after receiving a tip about possible drug activity in a hotel room.

Permission to search the room was granted and investigators found about a kilo a methamphetamine, 3 ounces of marijuana, imitation drugs pressed as Xanax pills, a firearm, assorted drug paraphernalia and nearly $30,000 in cash. The street value of the methamphetamine is estimated between $80,000 to $100,000.

The three individuals arrested are 45-year old Melissa Renea Daughtery, 24-year-old Hailey Hale and 33-year-old Devin Ashby.
