Lee County Officials Holding Company To Its Agreement To Reopen Lee County Medical Facility

A health care company has indicated it will reopen a Lee County hospital that’s been closed for five years, at years end and county officials are going to hold them to that commitment. Americore bought the closed Lee County Hospital in 2017 for two million dollars and promised to open the facility by the end of this year. Weather has caused some delays in the preparation of the facility, but Lee County Hospital represenatives say regardless of the delays, Lee County will have a Hospital by the end of this year. According to the agreement, once Americore opens the facility, they are required to keep it open for a minimum of five years
