Kingsport Man Faces Numerous Charges Including aggravated Assault After Traffic Stop

A Kingsport man faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault after allegedly striking a Scott County deputy with his car Monday night and then fled police before being arrested after a three hour standoff. 27 year old Gabriel I.Housewright was pulled over for a traffic stop, but continued driving. Housewright eventually stopped, but pulled out again, striking the deputy with his car. Housewright once again fled police but was arrested after a three hour long standoff at his residence.
