Fatal Accident in Scott County Still Under Investigation by Virginia State Police

Virginia State Police continue to investigate a fatal incident that occurred in Scott County earlier this week.

According to the investigation, a 1995 Honda Passport was traveling south on Route 23, when it ran off the road and struck a culvert, overturning, and ejecting the driver. Police say Anthony Moore, 39, was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident. Moore died at the scene of the crash.
