No Charges In Vehicle-Bike Crash

In southwest Virginia, no charges will be filed against the driver of a vehicle that struck a 12 year old girl riding a bike in Marion Monday. The incident happened at the Greenway Avenue intersection with South Main Street. A reconstruction of the accident showed the girl was riding through a parking lot when she lost control and went into the roadway where she was struck by the vehicle.
