Early absentee voting in Virginia underway
Absentee voting in Virginia for the Nov. 5th General Election is underway and qualified voters can now vote at their local registrar’s office or by mail.
Those wanting to vote absentee must meet state guideline requirements including pregnancy, out of town for business or vacation, attending college outside of the state or working as a first responder. The deadline to register to vote for the Nov. General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 15. Absentee voters wanting to cast a ballot in person must do so by Nov. 2.
