Ballad Health Reports Eleven Million Dollar Net Operating Loss…Not Counting COVID-19 Pandemic Costs

Excluding the effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Ballad Health announced a net operating loss of eleven point two million dollars for it’s third quarter, but the health care provider also reported lower costs for patients and improved patient satisfaction. Despite the loss, Ballad says prior to the impact of COVID-19, Ballad Health was contributing to major reductions in the cost of healthcare for the region. Ballad also says in a press release it expects significant losses in the upcoming fourth quarter due to the continued battle against COVID-19.
