Greeneville Boat Manufacturer To Close…97 Out Of Work

97 employees of a popular recreational motorboat manufacturer in Greeneville will soon be out of a job. The Sea Ray Facility of the Brunswick Corporation notified the employees on Wednesday. The permanent layoff is due to a site closure of the Sea Ray Facility located on West Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville. The North East Local Workforce Development Area Rapid response team has been notified as well to help coordinate services for the laid off workers. The Brunswick Corporation plans to close the Sea Ray facility effective July 13.
