Online petition calling for relocation of Confederate monument in Lebanon, VA

Another online petition has been created calling for the removal of a Southwest Virginia confederate monument.

A petition created on change.org by select graduates of Lebanon High School are asking for the relocation of the monument that sits in the downtown area. The marker was erected in 1914 and according to the petition, citizens spoke for and against its removal at the last Town Council meeting.

Another petition was created a few weeks ago calling on Washington County, VA leaders to relocate the confederate monuments that sit outside the county courthouse.
