JCPD: Georgia woman arrested on felony child neglect charges

A Georgia woman is behind bars Thursday after being arrested for felony child neglect after a four year old child was found unattended in a Johnson City Hotel, while police say the woman drank alcohol outside the hotel for two and a half hours.

Johnson City Police charged Madison M. Leckemby of Waynesboro, Georgia with Felony Child Abuse after the toddler was found alone at the Fairfield Inn and Suites.

Leckemby is being held in the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary court appearance in Washington County Tennessee Sessions Court.
