JOSI: Family offers $5K reward for information on December shooting on Skyland in Kingsport

The family of a Church Hill woman killed in December in a Kingsport shooting has offered a $5,000 reward for information about the incident.

We spoke with Melissa Davis, the mother of 20-year-old Josephine Josi Helmandollar, and she confirms that Josi’s grandfather Roger Davis had provided the funding for what she hopes will generate leads for a potential suspect who gunned down her daughter and 22-year-old Charles Seaton in Kingsport’s Fort Henry area on Skyland Drive.

Kingsport Police Public Information Officer Tom Patton said numerous leads have been investigated by the department but nothing definitive has materialized in pinpointing a suspect.
