Police: Southwest Virginia suspected kidnapper was casing churches a month before Sunday’s abduction

Investigators in Giles County, Virginia are saying a suspected kidnapper was scouting other locations before she took a toddler from a church on Sunday.

Officials in Sheriff Morgan Millirons office said eyewitnesses spotted the SUV used by Nancy Fridley at several churches a month before the abduction of 2-year-old Noah Trout that triggered a nationwide AMBER Alert.

The office also reported that there seems to be no credible connection between Noah’s family and Fridley.
