65 Year Old Missing Man From Carter County Found…Autopsy Now being Performed

The body William Hastings is now being examined by the Quillen College of Medicine’s Forensic Center to determine an exact cause of death of the 65 year old Hastings after his body was found over the weekend. Hastings, who suffered from Dementia had been missing since July first. The Sheriff’s Department was notified of Hastings disappearance on July third and began searching for him that evening. Investigators believe the death of Hastings was accidental but will await official autopsy results. Members of the Carter County Rescue Squad around nine 45 Saturday morning.
