VIrginia Looking For Pot Attorney

The State of Virginia is looking to hire a marijuana attorney, now that Commonwealth residents can now blaze up since pot was legalized for recreational use earlier this month. The new position will serve as general council to the newly created Virginia Cannabis Control Authority as well as assist other state agencies with regulations and laws regarding cannabis. State officials are beginning the process of setting up the control authority, which will develop regulations for a legal marijuana marketplace expected to open in January 2024.
