Bridge repair on John B. Dennis Highway to impact traffic next week

Travelers in Sullivan County should exercise caution during the week of October 18th as bridge repairs happen on State Route 93—otherwise known as John B. Dennis Highway. County officials say the construction project will affect traffic on this highway, and drivers should use extreme caution. This repair begins on Monday, October 18th at 9 AM. One lane will be closed in each direction on John B. Dennis Highway between New Moore Road and Tidewater Court. These lane closures will be in place throughout the entire project. This work is expected to be complete on or before October 20th, weather permitting.
