Ballad Reports Decreasing Number Of Patients, But Alarming Number Have Not Been Vaccinated

Ballad Health is reporting continued trends indicating a decreasing number of patients in its health care facilities, but still shows an alarming number of those patients have not been vaccinated. 188 patients are currently being treated in Ballad facilities across the 21 county service area…of those patients, only 18 have been vaccinated. And while there are just 47 patients in the ICU, only two have received their vaccinations. Only one patient out of the 37 using a ventilator to breath has been vaccinated against the virus. The region’s current vaccination rate is just over 44 percent.
