Ballad Health, ETSU partners to open new Appalachian Highlands Center for Nursing Advancement

Ballad Health and East Tennessee State University announced a ten million dollar partnership to create a new Appalachian Highlands Center for Nursing Advancement. This new center will serve to bring nursing, business, and education together to create a hub of opportunity and support for nurses and nursing students in our area. The center plans to create partnerships with regional schools including Northeast State Community College, Milligan University, and UVA Wise to advance the clinical practice of nursing across the mountain empire. Not only will the center work with current nurses and nursing students, it will work to attract more students to the profession.
