Tennessee Expects To Receive More Than Six Billion Dollars In Road Improvement Funding

Interstate 26, 81, 11W, Highway 126 and many more long awaited road improvement projects in the region may soon find a lane for completion. The Tennessee Department of Transportation says Tennesseans could soon see an accelerated effort to complete projects like these in our region. President Biden’s one trillion dollar infrastructure investment plan is expected to provide six and a half billion dollars for infrastructure projects across the Volunteer State. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was recently approved by Congress, which every Tennessee Republican voted against.
