Dramatic Relief Headed To Southwest Virginia As Part Of New Infrastructure Law

Dramatic relief for rural Southwest Virginia…those are words of United States Senator Mark Warner in regards to the recently passed Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act. Warner says many long awaited projects in rural southwest Virginia will soon get underway, including improvements to Interstate 81, and making sure the rural southwest receives the same amount of attention to infrastructure needs in this region as the metro areas receive in Northern Virginia. Meanwhile, across the political aisle, Southwest Virginia United States Congressman Morgan Griffith says the new law is not all it appears to be and the projected new spending wont be spent any time soon.
