Johnson City man in jail after violating order of protection, assaulting ex-girlfriend

A Johnson City man was arrested after police say he violated an order of protection and assaulted his ex-girlfriend. According to a police report, 37-year-old Rafael Soto entered the victim’s residence through a window and assaulted her.

Johnson City Police confirmed there was an active order of protection against Soto, filed by the victim. Rafael Soto was taken into custody without incident and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
