Police: South Carolina man had cash, cache of drugs in Johnson City
A joint operation with Johnson City Special Investigations and the DEA ended when they chased down a South Carolina man carrying 4 pounds of meth.
They arrested Louis Ross, 35, of Spartanburg, after he ran from his vehicle during a traffic stop. A search of Ross’ housing turned up $7,000 in cash, more meth, cocaine, and fentanyl.
A city statement said the arrest was the result of a long term investigation from both agencies.
