Bristol dealership takes title sponsor of annual December basketball classic

Bristol Tennessee Public Schools have reached a contract agreement with a new title sponsor for its Christmas time basketball tournament.

The event at Viking Hall will now be named ‘The Classic presented by Toyota of Bristol.’ Dealership owners said they became very interested in the sponsor spot but most importantly, assisting the athletic program at Tennessee High.

A company that owns Arby’s franchises, with the brand associated with the tournament for decades, ended their sponsorship of the tournament earlier this year after a deal was not reached with the school system.
