Petition to remove school superintendent circulating in Dickenson County

A petition is being circulated in Dickenson County to remove Schools Superintendent Haydee Robinson from her position. This comes after an eight-year-old was charged with having a gun on a Dickinson County school bus on October 18 and a week later, a nine-year-old was charged with threatening Ridgeview Elementary. More than 800 parents, students and community members have signed it so far. Some parents are also expressing concern about on going bullying in the schools that they say has not been addressed. There has been no comment from Robinson.
