USA Raft Adventure Resort will not open this year

USA Raft Adventure Resort announced Saturday it will not open for its 2025 season. After attempting to rebuild after Hurricane Helene and obtaining the necessary permits, the resort said it would be closed this year. Owner Matt Moses said the US Forest Service informed the business Friday that no rafting permits would be issued for this season. Moses said the resort will continue to assess the area with the hope of reopening in 2026.
