$2,000 bonus coming to Sullivan County teachers

The Sullivan County Board of Education unanimously passed a resolution connected to the school voucher program. That provision allows county school teachers to receive a one-time bonus of “no less than $2,000.” The school board maintains that it still does not agree with Governor Lee’s voucher program as a whole; it only approved its intent to participate in Section 4 of the act. The bonuses are solely state-funded.
