Investigation underway after possible shooting in JC

An investigation is underway as Johnson City police blocked the 600 block of E Fairview Avenue Tuesday night after residents said they heard what sounded like gunshots followed by arguing. Officers reported that a suspect is in custody and a victim was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. No further details have been released.
