One person injured, 3 animals killed in Kingsport house fire

One person was transported to the hospital after a house fire in the 4300 block of Ridgemont Drive in Kingsport. The fire was on the side, in the rear of the home. According to the Kingsport Fire Department, three animals died in the fire. One person was reportedly trapped inside but was taken to the hospital. The fire is currently under investigation.
