One person killed in ATV accident in Dickenson County

An individual in Dickenson County died after an ATV crash Sunday morning. The fire department said in a news release that the crash happened in the Big Caney Creek area at 9:52 a.m. The release said the call indicated that an individual had been pinned beneath a side-by-side ATV and was not breathing. Due to the challenging terrain and limited access to the area, multiple crews were dispatched to assist in the rescue efforts. The individual involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.
