Suspect in custody after Greeneville stabbing fatality

The Greeneville Police Department is investigating a Thursday night stabbing. Officers responded to the 100 Block of North Sunset Boulevard around 9 p.m. They found an unresponsive man with stab wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died. According to Greeneville police, 30-year-old Isaiah Bowden of Blountville has been identified as the victim. The suspect is identified as Perry Schoolfield Jr., of Dewitt, Virginia. The investigation into what led to the altercation is continuing.
