JCPD investigating early Sunday shooting

The Johnson City Police Department says one person was reportedly injured in a downtown Johnson City shooting early Sunday. Police said that officers responded to the Downtown Square parking lot Sunday at around 1:50 a.m. Officers found a victim who had gunshot wounds to the finger and leg. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening and evidence was collected at the scene. The investigation into the shooting continues and no arrests have been made.
