CSX to resurface some JC Railroad crossings in May

Several railroad crossings in Johnson City will be temporarily closed for a track resurfacing project in May. Officials say CSX will close the crossings at Embreville Road, Highridge Road, Price Road at Five Oaks Drive and Wiseman Road at Sutphin Road. The project is slated to start on May 7. The release states that due to varying maintenance needed at each crossing, the closures are expected to last between two and five days depending on the location. Traffic will be closed at the crossings during the project.
