Bays Mountain Park to get custom state license plate

The Bays Mountain Park Association announced that it has reached its 1,000 preorder goal required for the state to begin producing its specialty Tennessee license plate. The Friends of Bays Mountain organization spearheaded the effort, which began in 2023, and met the 500-plate pre-order mark in May. All plate proceeds go toward funding park improvements, events, projects and maintenance. Now that the 1,000 required orders have been placed, Friends of Bays said it will submit information to the state for production to begin.
