Ballad Health to close two urgent care centers

Ballad Health says two of their urgent care centers will close on May 3. The Colonial Heights Urgent Care on Fort Henry Drive, and the Elizabethton Urgent Care on West Elk Avenue will close. Ballad says the decision was made after recently evaluating those facilities based on patient volumes and similar services that are available nearby. Ballad said it’s working with affected employees to find new opportunities within the organization.
