One person arrested in Greeneville Community Hospital altercation

One person was arrested after a fight at Greeneville Community Hospital on Tuesday. The Greeneville Police Department report says an officer responded to a fight in progress at the hospital’s emergency room. A nurse told officers than an altercation started after family members came to check on an elderly patient. The nurse said that she saw David Lawson grab the victim by the shirt collar and push him out of the patient’s room and against the nurse’s station, then began choking the victim. The victim was admitted to the hospital due to injuries. Lawson was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
