Virginia Free Fishing Days this weekend

The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources has announced that Virginia’s Free Fishing Days will be held on Friday, June 6, Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. Throughout those three days, anyone can fish public waters without a license or facility use permit and that includes stocked trout waters. No registration is required but all fishing regulations, including size, season, catch limits and gear restrictions, will remain in effect. The department said DWR fee fishing areas will still require a fee for Free Fishing Days.
