Rep. Diana Harshbarger now vice chair of Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health

Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger has been named the new vice chair of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health. Representative Harshbarger’s office said in a press release that as a licensed pharmacist, she has been advocating for healthcare reform and patient access in Congress. Harshbarger is also a member of the Republican Doctors Caucus and serves as Co-Chair of the Congressional Bipartisan Rural Health Caucus. Harshbarger’s statement said that she will continue to work to strengthen the healthcare system.
