Carter County SWAT Team conducting training this week

A post on social media says the Carter County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team will conduct training exercises at various locations Monday through Thursday. The post said that the locations will be in the Happy Valley District and will include local schools. The department said the community should not to be alarmed if residents see a large law enforcement presence at schools or other community buildings during these dates.
