Nature center at Steele Creek Park earns national accreditation

The nature center at Steele Creek Park has earned national accreditation. The center is now a part of the American Alliance of Museums, a distinction held by only 4% of museums in the U.S. The recognition follows a year-long review of operations, ethics, and public service. The nature center at Steele Creek Park is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
