Henderson Motorsports to post ‘Charlie tribute’ above driver’s window at Watkins Glen

A local team that has competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for decades will have an empty spot on the pit box this weekend at Watkins Glen International in New York.
Henderson Motorsports team owner Debbie Henderson-Creasy posted a tribute on social media to her father Charlie who died in June at the age of 88. This will be the team’s first trip back to the track since Charlie’s passing.
She said when the #75 was on the track, Charlie was there as well or glued to the TV coverage. Creasy also said she and her brother will continue the race shop operations in Abingdon. Charlie Henderson’s name will be posted above the driver’s window for Saturday’s Mission 200 at the Glen as a rolling tribute.
