UPDATE: Name of man who died in Buchanan County Police custody released

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that a man in custody had died. An adult male passed away Wednesday evening while in custody. In accordance with the Policy and Procedure of the Sheriff’s Office, two deputies have been placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues. Virginia State Police is investigating the death and identified the man as 32 year old, Bobby Tysan-Coy Stacy, of Grundy. The body was transferred to the medical examiner’s office. The investigation is on going.
